Departments

  • Research and Development

    The Department of Research and Development, or RnD

    • In charge of forming training programs covering various computer applications and utilizing technological advancements
    • Addresses the academic needs of the members in IT-related courses
    • Handles CompSAt’s activities involving the development of websites, software solutions and information systems
    • In charge of offering services to the community through technical support or provision of other IT-related resources

  • Documentation and Publication

    The Department of Documentation and Publication, or Doc&Pub

    • Manages the documentation of all CompSAt operations and activities, which involve meeting minutes, project-related documentation such as proposals and evaluations, and photo documentation of operations and activities
    • In charge of disseminating information for the members and handling publications involving the organization
    • The official helping hand of the Secretary-General

  • Internal Affairs

    The Department of Internal Affairs, or IA

    • Manages and participates in activities internal to CompSAt, such as general assemblies, parties, recreational and other activities geared towards member development
    • Strengthens member development and participation in CompSAt activities
    • Develops and harnesses the skills of the future leaders of the organization

  • External Affairs

    The Department of External Affairs, or EA

    • Manages and participates in activities involving the CompSAt alumni, outreach, organizations and all else external to the organization
    • Conducts the necessary measures to maintain contact with CompSAt alumni
    • Manages and participates in activities involving other organizations and administrative offices within Ateneo and other CompSAt-initiated activities for the Ateneo community 
    • Deals with the activities and events organized by the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS) 

  • Finance and Marketing

    The Department of Finance and Marketing, or FnM

    • Forms the liaison between CompSAt and corporations that have reason to be involved in CompSAt’s projects and activities 
    • In charge of searching for sponsorships to fund CompSAt’s projects and activities
    • Generates funds and oversees budgeting concerns for CompSAt’s projects and activities

  • Logistics and Promotions

    The Department of Logistics and Promotions, or ProLog

    • In charge of obtaining and handling physical resources that are needed for CompSAt’s projects and activities (i.e. projectors, computers, etc.)
    • In charge of finding and setting-up venues for CompSAt’s projects and activities
    • In charge of manning booths and other manpower tasks during CompSAt activities
    • In charge of brainstorming about, designing and creating promotional paraphernalia to advertise CompSAt activities
    • In charge of actual propagation of promotional material to the respective audiences of CompSAt activities
